Born
on Long Island, New York, RuthAnn was first influenced musically as a
child attending Bethpage Assembly of God. Raised going to church, her roots
are strong in gospel music. RuthAnn began singing solos at age 14. Having an
appreciation for many styles of music, through the years, RuthAnn has
performed traditional and contemporary gospel, country, R&B and opera.
RuthAnn has worked as a soloist, as well as a background vocalist in
concerts and on recording projects for many other artists. RuthAnn has also
directed musical productions for children, youth and adult choirs. She is
currently a worship leader at her home church. RuthAnn is working on her
third solo recording project to be released in 2003. Her recent single
release of "Silent Night" for this Christmas season
(2002) is a very unique arrangement of this timeless classic sung with much
heart and emotion.
